InferexAI supports two billing modes: monthly subscriptions that auto-credit your wallet each cycle, and manual top-ups for on-demand credits. All amounts are in Indian Rupees and include 18% GST.

Auto-charged monthly via Razorpay. Credits added to your wallet each cycle automatically.
Manual top-up
Add credits on demand via Razorpay. Good for extra headroom beyond your subscription.
Subscription plans
All plans auto-renew monthly. Cancel anytime — you retain access until the end of the current period. Wallet credits equal the base price; the GST portion is a tax charge and is not added as API credit.

Subscriptions use Razorpay auto-debit (e-mandate). The first charge is authorised during checkout; subsequent charges happen automatically on the renewal date.
How the wallet works
Credits added
On subscription charge or manual top-up, credits are instantly added to your wallet in paise (₹1 = 100 paise).
Pay per request
Each API call deducts cost based on prompt + completion tokens. The rate depends on the upstream model.
Track balance
Check your live balance at any time via GET /portal/me. Balance is in the wallet_cents field.
Wallet empty
Requests fail with HTTP 402 when the wallet reaches zero. Top up manually or wait for the next subscription cycle.
Top up anytime, even if you have an active subscription. Useful when you need extra credits mid-cycle.

Pay via Razorpay
Use any UPI, card, or net banking. On a test/staging deployment, use the test credentials below instead of a real payment method.
Low balance alerts
Set an alert threshold in Dashboard → Settings. When your wallet drops below the threshold, InferexAI sends an email and (if configured) fires a low_balance webhook event. Alerts are rate-limited to once per 24 hours.
KYC verification
Depending on current policy, InferexAI may require a one-time identity/business verification (KYC) before you can move real money — a manual top-up or a subscription charge. Submit it from Dashboard → Settings → KYC.
Trying InferexAI is never gated
A new account can create API keys and make calls on trial credit without completing KYC first. Verification is a money-in gate, not an API-access gate, so there is no hurdle between signup and your first request.
Required before adding real money
A manual top-up or subscription charge made before KYC is complete fails with HTTP 403 kyc_required. Complete verification once and the block clears immediately — no need to retry the payment yourself.
Stricter policies (requiring KYC for API usage itself, not just top-ups) can apply to specific accounts — if API calls unexpectedly return kyc_required, check Dashboard → Settings → KYCfor your account's current status.
Test mode credentials
The production API runs with live Razorpay keys — real payment methods and real money. The credentials below only apply in a test/staging deployment explicitly configured with Razorpay test keys; they will not work against api.inferexai.in:
