Billing & Wallet

InferexAI supports two billing modes: monthly subscriptions that auto-credit your wallet each cycle, and manual top-ups for on-demand credits. All amounts are in Indian Rupees and include 18% GST.

Subscription

Auto-charged monthly via Razorpay. Credits added to your wallet each cycle automatically.

Manual top-up

Add credits on demand via Razorpay. Good for extra headroom beyond your subscription.

Subscription plans

All plans auto-renew monthly. Cancel anytime — you retain access until the end of the current period. Wallet credits equal the base price; the GST portion is a tax charge and is not added as API credit.

Subscriptions use Razorpay auto-debit (e-mandate). The first charge is authorised during checkout; subsequent charges happen automatically on the renewal date.

How the wallet works

Credits added

On subscription charge or manual top-up, credits are instantly added to your wallet in paise (₹1 = 100 paise).

Pay per request

Each API call deducts cost based on prompt + completion tokens. The rate depends on the upstream model.

Track balance

Check your live balance at any time via GET /portal/me. Balance is in the wallet_cents field.

Wallet empty

Requests fail with HTTP 402 when the wallet reaches zero. Top up manually or wait for the next subscription cycle.

Manual top-up

Top up anytime, even if you have an active subscription. Useful when you need extra credits mid-cycle.

Go to Dashboard

Click "Add credits" or the wallet balance amount in your portal.

Enter amount

Choose how many rupees to add. Credits are added instantly after payment.

Pay via Razorpay

Use any UPI, card, or net banking. In test mode use success@razorpay (UPI) or card 4111 1111 1111 1111.

Low balance alerts

Set an alert threshold in Dashboard → Settings. When your wallet drops below the threshold, InferexAI sends an email and (if configured) fires a low_balance webhook event. Alerts are rate-limited to once per 24 hours.
